Parc André Citroën

Located in the 15th arrondissement, Parc Andre Citroen, built on the former site of the auto maker, is rarely visited by tourists.  If you go, take a ride in the tethered balloon for a sky-high view of Paris, wander the various gardens, picnic on the lawn or cool off in the dancing water jets.

Hi Polly, I had to look up the location of this park. You are right about the lack of tourists -- The water jets, picnic and gardens sound tempting to a tourist who likes to get away from the usual crowds.

Merci!

What a great idea to look at Paris from this balloon. It would be the only way you could capture the Eiffel tower and la tour Montparnasse together.

It offers fabulous views in all directions that vary by season and it's FUN too!
